What's Up , Sweaty Hands??
Sweaty hands are the most common form of an excessive sweating condition called Hyperhidrosis. This condition can make a person's life extremely difficult as it can affect their social, occupational and normal everyday life to the point where most tasks become almost impossible to perform.
This condition sometimes begins in early childhood and as it continues through the teenage years and into adulthood, it can become more severe. There are rare cases where accidents can initiate this condition.
There is usually no cause for Primary Palmar Hyperdrosis except that there may be a family problem with it, but the affected person is healthy otherwise. It does happen where sweating of other areas on the body may also appear. This condition is triggered by anxiety, anger, fear and nervousness.

Secondary palm sweating is generally caused by other underlying conditions like diabetes, menopause, menstruation, hyperthyroidism, overuse of alcohol as well as diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
Some symptoms of excessive palm sweating are that there is a temperature difference between the surface temperatures of the hands as compared to other parts of the body. The perspiration level in the hands can go from mild wetness of the palm to chronic sweating which could cause sweat to drip from the hands. The skin might start peeling from the hands and this may be caused by the symptom where extreme sweating of the palms will be followed by severe dryness in the area.
There are instances where certain types of food will trigger the condition and the culprits should be systematically eliminated. Fortunately, there are ways to prevent or at least reduce sweating in a natural manner if it is the secondary type of palm sweating. Some guy by the name Ramsey has created a simple step by step program to curb sweating. You can read a user review of his book here.
There are antiperspirant compounds such as aluminum chloride that can be applied to the palms and has been proven to be very effective in controlling profuse sweating in the region. There are medical procedures that can assist with a sweaty hands problem and these should be discussed with your medical practitioner.
